Overview:

Mr. Han MA joined NTD in 2006, and has a wealth of experience in the field of trademark prosecution, opposition, invalidation, disputes solutions, risks assessment, litigations and consultation on overall trademark/brand protection strategies. Mr. Han has been actively participating International events/seminars in the China IP area, and invited to deliver speeches on professional issues.

In 2024, Mr. MA was awarded the honor of “Star Trademark Attorney” by CTA. In 2025, Mr. MA was selected as a Senior Level 1 Professional in the Trademark Agency Talent Pool.

• Representing ASUSTEK COMPUTER INC. to win multiple trademark administrative litigation cases in Beijing Higher People's Court (2022).

• Representing ETABLISSEMENT PUBLIC DU MUSEE DU LOUVRE in invalidation cases wherein recognized the registration and use of "LOUVRE" trademark of the disputed parties might have adverse social influence, establishing a milestone for protecting foreign cultural heritage (2020-2021);

• Representing ETAT FRANCAIS in the appeal for review on refusal of international trademark "VICHY CELESTINS & Device" No. 604112 (2019-2020);

• Representing KWANG YANG MOTOR CO., LTD. in opposition wherein recognized "KYMCO” trademark as a well-known trademark (2016);

• Representing WISTRON CORPORATION in many opposition cases wherein recognized "WISTRON" & “WISTRON in Chinese” trademark as a well-known trademark (2012-2015);

• Representing DuPont in the administrative appeal against refusal of "TEFLON" trademark and taking anti-dilution action, and successfully overcoming the refusal of lack of trademark distinctiveness and won the case (2012);
