    Overview:

      Before joining NTD, Ms.Zhang had been working in a Institute of Chemistry for for two years and also had been working in a Japanese company for for two years. Joined NTD in 2004, Ms. Zhang's practice focuses mainly on patent prosecution. She has successfully represented some major corporations to handle hundreds patent filings and prosecuting cases covering various technical fields, particularly the fields of Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Polymers, Metallurgy,Food,Coatings. Ms. Zhang has also represented clients in many patent reexamination cases, patent invalidation cases and patent litigation cases. In addition, Ms. Zhang has also drafted many patent applications for clients and filed these patent applications in China and many countries outside of China, such as the Japan.

      Ms.Zhang has solid professional knowledge,serious working attitude and rich experience in patent commissioning business and patent litigation.

      Represented Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. (the patentee) in the appealing to the Higher People's Court of Beijing against the invalidation decision issued by the Reexamination Board. The appeal number is “(2013) Gao Xing Zhong Zi No. 1754”. The patentee won the case. This case was included into the Supreme People’s Court Intellectual Property Trial Case Guide (2013), was selected to be one of the 50 representative IP cases of China court in 2013, and to be one of the top ten representative IP cases in Beijing court.
