Chris Tam joined NTD in 2005. Before then, he had been working as an engineer and a senior engineer in Sinopec for more than 12 years. He took part in a number of state sponsored research programs, gaining abundant experiences in the areas of polymer synthesis and/or processing, as well as nano rubber material research, etc. Chris became a qualified Patent Attorney in 2009 and he also received IP trainings in the United States in 2011. His practice primarily involves patent drafting, filing and prosecution, patent infringement and validity opinions, with an emphasis in the areas of chemistry, including almost all branches thereof, and he is especially familiar with the areas of polymer chemistry and material in the related areas. Chris has successfully represented some major international corporations to handle hundreds of patent filings and prosecuting cases and is praised by domestic clients for his legal service in IP matters both in China and oversea markets.
