Overview:

Ms. Yao Zhang, joined NTD in 2007, concentrates on intellectual property legal services, and serves as an expert for “Invalidation and Cancellation for Registered Trademark” project in NTD Academy. Ms. Zhang has been actively involved in events in the China IP area, and invited to give lectures on strategy for trademark protection for various enterprises.

In more than 16 years practice, Ms. Zhang has rich experience in the field of trademark prosecution, dispute as well as recognition and protection of well-known trademarks. Ms. ZHANG has represented numerous global and world 500 TOP enterprises in protecting their trademark interests in China.

• Representative of Mars Wrigley initiated trademark oppositions, invalidations or Administrative litigations and won the cases. Mars Wrigley’s trademarks were recognized and protected as well-known mark in the cases;

• Representative of Acer initiated trademark oppositions, invalidations or Administrative litigations and won the cases. Acer’s trademarks were recognized and protected as well-known mark in the cases;

• Representative of Karen Kane initiated trademark opposition and won the case. Karen Kane’s personal name right was successfully protected in the case;

• Representative of Metaquotes initiated trademark oppositions, invalidations and Administrative litigations and won the cases. Metaquotes’s copyright for the artwork was successfully protected in the cases;

• Representative of Glen Raven initiated trademark oppositions, invalidations and Administrative litigations and won the cases.
