Jian Wei, Managing Partner re-elected as Vice President of the All-China Patent Attorneys Association.

On June 12^th, the 11^th General Assembly of the All-China Patent Attorneys Association (ACPAA) was held in Beijing. Mr. Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Present at the assembly were over 300 representatives from the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, the Supreme People's Court, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, relevant departments from CNIPA, local administrative departments for intellectual property and IP agencies.

During the assembly, ACPAA held the general election and a new Council was established. Mr. He Hua was re-elected as President of the Council. Mr. Jian Wei, NTD’s Managing Partner, together with 14 representatives, was elected as Vice President, his second time being elected as Vice President after 2019. At the same time, the congress elected 237 members and 79 executive members of the Council.

In addition, Mr. Cai Honggui, NTD’s Senior Partner, delivered a speech on "Improving Patent Application Quality from the Perspective of Patent Invalidity and Litigation." Based on his experience of handling patent invalidation and infringement litigation cases, Mr. Cai advised on how to avoid the problems in patent invalidation and infringement litigation especially when drafting applications in order to obtain high-quality patents.
