The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) recently unveiled the results of international filings of patents, trademarks and industrial designs in 2022. China has remained the top origin of PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) international applications for the fourth consecutive year since its inaugural crowning in 2019.
