From October 31 to November 1, 2019, Licensing Executives Society China (LES China)held the annual conference at Shenzhen. Themed on “Intellectual Property Operation Boosting Business Growth”, this conference invited multiple experts in IP operation to give keynote speeches, sharing their experience. The legal practitioners from member units and non-member units were attracted to participate.
As the Commissioner and Vice-President of LES, Mr. Christopher Shao Wei, senior partner of NTD, presided over this annual conference. He conducted communications and discussions with the guest speakers and attendees on hot issues such as patent licensing, pledging, trading and the transformation of technological achievements. In the end, Mr. Shao delivered a closing speech, marking a successful conclusion of the conference.
LICENSING EXECUTIVES SOCIETY, short for LES, is a non-profit, professional international society of more than 11, 000 members from 30 national and local branches and tens of committees, involved in the developments of licensing, international transformation of technologies and intellectual property protection. The members are the executives from the large and medium-scaled companies, law firms, accounting firms, research and educational institutions, government organs and international organizations. Mr. Christopher Shao Wei was selected as the Vice-President of LES, and retained this year. He is the first IP professional from China Mainland to take up this senior post since China joined LES in 1989.
