The International Trademark Association (INTA) 2026 Annual Meeting is being held from May 2 to 6 at the Excel London exhibition centre. This premier industry event brings together over 10,000 IP professionals, business leaders, and policymakers from more than 100 jurisdictions. It serves as a core global platform for in‑depth discussions on IP law and policy, brand value, patent strategies, and the integration of AI with IP, fostering the exchange of ideas, resource networking, and strategic planning. NTD IP Attorneys (NTD) has sent a 14‑member professional delegation led by senior partners Shao Wei and Christopher Shen to London. With nearly four decades of experience and global service capabilities, the delegation is deeply engaged in the global IP ecosystem and sharing insights on the future of IP with peers from around the world.
The NTD delegation consists of seasoned experts in patents, trademarks, and legal matters. A highlight of our participation is the CTA Forum, organized by China Trademark Association (CTA) and hosted by NTD, under the theme “Challenges of Brand Globalization in the AI Era: Learning and Innovation”. The forum will take place on Monday, May 4, from 13:30 to 14:30. Christopher Shen, Senior Partner of NTD, will serve as the moderator, leading discussions on AI‑empowered trademark management and cross‑border brand protection together with top experts from Chinese courts, leading technology companies, and IP service providers.

Later that same afternoon, Nathan Yang, Senior Partner of NTD, will speak at the flagship “Chinese Case Law Update” session. His presentation is titled: “Relative Grounds and Bad Faith: Case Studies on Well‑Known Trademark Protection, Prior Rights and Fighting Against Bad‑Faith Squatting”.

Beyond the substantive sessions, the NTD delegation is making full use of INTA’s global networking platform, engaging in business discussions and collaboration talks with IP agencies, law firms, and corporations from around the world. These efforts further strengthen existing partnerships and uncover new international cooperation opportunities, enabling us to build a more efficient and professional cross‑border IP service network for our global clients.
NTD IP Attorneys is committed to building a professional service system that deeply integrates a global perspective with local practice. Our presence in London is not only an important opportunity to exchange ideas with international peers but also a vivid demonstration of our ongoing commitment to providing forward‑looking, strategic IP solutions for clients both at home and abroad. NTD will continue to actively participate in global IP governance with an open mind, connecting the world through professional excellence and safeguarding our clients’ brands as they grow steadily in global markets.
