Recently, the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) issued the Standards for Evaluating the Demonstration Pilots of Administrative Adjudication of Patent Infringement Disputes (hereinafter referred to as the Standards), which introduces the basic indicators and the bonus indicators. The basic indicators are used to evaluate the comprehensive supports and the completion of basic tasks, while the bonus indicators are used to evaluate the special tasks. A final score will be got by adding up the scores of the above two indicators. If the basic indicators get 60 points or more, the pilot is deemed as qualified. The institution will be listed in the Demonstration Pilots of Administrative Adjudication of Patent Infringement Disputes, if its basic indictors get 80 points or more and final score gets 90 points.

The Standards is in favor of implementing the measurements of CPC Central Committee and the State Council to enhance the administrative adjudication. Moreover, it can also promote the demonstration pilot projects, improve the administrative adjudication, reinforce the intellectual property protection and better support the social and economic development. In the future, the CNIPA will evaluate the demonstration pilots and promote the building of the demonstration pilots in good time.
