On July 20, the Trademark Circuit Review Court was unveiled in the Trademark Examination Cooperation Center (Jinan). Mr. Cui Shoudong, Commissioner of the Trademark Office of China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and Mr. Yu Zhiyong, Deputy Commissioner of the Shandong Administration for Market Regulation delivered speeches. The staff from the offices also attended.
To follow the guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping’ s keynote speech, the Trademark Office set up the trademark circuit juries and the system of oral trial for trademark cases, which are important for boost the public's familiarity with the laws and regulations, enhancing the public’s awareness of trademark protection, and improving the trademark work. The Trademark Office strictly crackdowns the malicious trademark registrations to protect the legal interests of trademark owners and promote the economic development. To further deepen the reform of trademark registration facilitation and promote the system of oral trial, the Trademark Circuit Review Court (Jinan) was set up. It will facilitate the parties involved in trademark cases to take part in the oral trials, further enhance the coordinated protection of the trademark rights, and improve the capability of public services.
