    The Establishment of China Intellectual Property Protection Centers in Liaoning, Jilin and Changchun Approved

    Recently, China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) approves the establishment of China Intellectual Property Protection Centers in Liaoning, Jilin, and Changchun (hereinafter referred to as "Liaoning Center", "Jilin Center", and "Changchun Center"). The number of IP protection centers under construction and in operation across the country has reached 46. In conjunction with the Shenyang and Heilongjiang Centers that have been built before, there will be a total of 5 centers in northeast China, initially realizing the full coverage of IP protection centers in the Northeast.

    The five centers in Shenyang, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Jilin and Changchun will provide rapid and collaborative services for IPR protection respectively in high-end equipment manufacturing industry, equipment manufacturing and biological industry, new materials and new generation information technology industry, high-end equipment manufacturing and biomedical industry, new generation information technology and modern agriculture. They will give full rein to their professional advantages to provide whole-chain IPR protection for local advantageous industries. In addition, based on the new development stage of the revitalization of the old industrial bases in northeast China, efforts will also be made to strengthen intra- and cross-departmental collaboration, and provide comprehensive services for the protection of intellectual property rights for innovative entities. They will serve the high-quality economic development of northeast China under the full implementation of the principles that innovation is the primary driving force for development, and that protecting intellectual property rights is protecting innovation.
