Christopher Shaowei, Senior Partner of NTD Intellectual Property Attorneys, was recently re-elected as the Vice Chairman of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) International, at the 2019 LESI committee held in Yokohoma, Japan, on May 25 to May 26, 2019. Christopher retains this post after his election in April of last year. He is the first intellectual property expert from the mainland China to hold such high-level position, since China joined the LES in 1986.
Christopher has been with NTD for about 30 years, and his extensive experience covers solving intellectual property (“IP”) disputes, applying IP applications, etc. He also counsels clients and provides legal services in all IP perspective including licensing, resolutions for complicated dispute before administrative and judicial authorities, patent law, trademark law, copyright law, trade secrets, unfair competition, domain name disputes, and patent prosecution.
